A fetus develops for about 37-40 weeks before anyone sees what she actually looks like (minus some rough scans, depending on where the mother lives and what her healthcare coverage is like).

The mother knows her baby is there, without any doubt. The more time goes on, the more she feels that reality -- even though she has no visual evidence of it. She feels the turning, stretching, elbowing, kicking, sliding, flipping, and hiccuping, and there's no way she would deny that this baby exists.

Likewise, when we have a creative idea, we have the blessing of incubating it and nourishing it for a long time before we ever see it in real life. We get to grow it and nourish it until it's finally ready to make its debut.

Growing an idea takes faith, courage, and willingness to face increasing discomfort (yet also accompanied by tremendous joy) as we prepare to introduce it into the world. We can forget or resist the reality at first, but if we commit to carrying it, its existence is undeniable. Before too long we know it just has to be born.

With faith in the process, albeit unseen, we can bring incredible things into the world. We need what you are already uniquely growing.
