A squirrel ate our internet

god

About a month ago, we had an unexpected internet outage.

The line wasn't buried completely, and it got clipped by the lawnmower.

Then we had a temporary line that ended up getting chewed through by a bushy-tailed friend (true story).

Then they came and buried the line but didn't activate the connection.

And finally, (!!) a technician came out and finished the process.

Several times during that process, the internet connection went down in our house. Never once was it about the internet itself. It was about the connection

I've heard of people giving up on God or faith because things aren't working as expected. But what it the issue isn't God, but the connection with God? Learning about how God works and practicing that connection strengthens the signal and keeps us securely and reliably "installed." Otherwise, we run the risk of being victim to others' (sometimes unknowing, sometimes intentional) disconnecting actions, leaving us stuck and without much-needed resources.

Luckily, we don't have to wait long at all for spiritual technicians to show up. It can actually be a pretty instantaneous thing as we open our hearts and converse with God through prayer. Then we can listen for  answers and act on those answers.
