You can get a decent view of the sunrise if you're facing South, but you might wonder where all of the bright colors are. Turn 90 degrees to your left, and all of a sudden, bam! Right there, all along, are the vibrant corals, pinks, purples, oranges, and blues you had hoped to see.
If we're not getting what we want, it might not be God keeping it from us. We may simply be a quarter-turn from discovering what He's already given.

No catch. I've been blessed to have some incredible friends and mentors who taught me what I know, and this is my way of paying it forward (I have a lot of it to do).
That said, out of full transparency, my dream is to expand my network of women like me -- women who love the Lord and view motherhood as a sacred calling, and who also believe in the importance of developing their own strengths and gifts through work. Women who are willing to push beyond their comfort zones and perceived cultural "norms." Women who feel called to "something bigger."
