When we need more than we have

Sometimes the "bare minimum" is just fine, especially when we're in survival mode or in a season of just getting by with what we have in the moment. But there are other times when we need more than we can offer on our own -- when we're saying "yes" to a new chapter, taking a leap of faith, or seeking the courage to face the unknown. On our own, this can feel really discouraging -- like we're giving everything we have and still coming up short.
But this isn't our only option.
Thankfully, we do have more we can give, if we are willing to partner with One who has a vault full of perfect solutions, ideas, and abilities. When we lean on our Savior, we get full access to His enabling power to work God's miracles -- in our lives, as well as the lives of others. Most times, the ideas and solutions He brings to this partnership are so far outside of our realm of possibilities that we wouldn't have even known how to imagine or ask for them.
But we don't have to.
That's the beauty of the way He works. We just have to show up with an open heart, a curious mind, and hands willing to do the work, and He does the rest.
If you're in a season where you're scaling every obstacle and sticking every landing, then maybe you're in a rest period, and definitely take the time you need to catch your breath.
But if you're feeling stuck/restless... maybe it's time to stretch even farther.
Leap higher. He'll be there to help. There is no greater feeling than to partner with Him.
