Jesus has the miracles covered. Our job? Make the bread.

When we feel called to something bigger than ourselves, it's easy to get overwhelmed at the magnitude of it. We feel the potential impact, and think "who am I to take this on?"

That's a great way to get stuck.

Frankly, you can't take this on, and there's no reason to try. At least not on your own.

God never asks us to take a mission on by ourselves. "You're on your own" is never something you'll hear from God. That's a classic adversary message.

When Jesus fed the 5,000, did he tell the little boy how many loaves to go home and get, or how many fish to go catch? No. He took whatever he had to offer, and multiplied the simple efforts to fill His purpose. I have a hunch he could have fed all 5,000 with just 1 slice of bread and a fraction of a fish.

That's all we're asked to do. Create what we can in this moment, catch what we're able, and be in a place where we can share it.

He'll take care of the rest.
