Accepting your lead role

Each one of us is offered a role from God, and it's up to us whether we choose to accept it or not. It's a starring role that will push us both outward and inward. It is the role: Beloved Child of God.

This might sound like fancy old-fashioned language. Simplified into plain ol' American English, it means you are a spirit child of God, who loves you even more than any awe-inspiring natural creation in the universe. The most beautiful sunrise, vibrant blossoming trees, the most majestic mountains, a galaxy full of stars... you are loved even more than those because you (the energetic force that fills your body and makes choices as you move through life) are a literal child of Heavenly Parents. You are loved so much simply because you exist, not because of any special thing you have done or not done to earn that love. Just for being, you are loved.

In other words, there is no other role more powerful, no opportunity to shine greater than this one.

To succeed in playing the role, we have to let it take precedence over any other role we play. Whatever else we do is powered by this role. For instance, my role as a mother is super-charged when I combine it with Beloved Daughter of God. I mother from a completely different place. Same thing goes for monetary things. I'm a Beloved Daughter of God who runs her own business.

The decisions I make, the way I show up, the challenges I face -- all have a divine energy about them when I first accept and act from my core role. Then that energy scales up exponentially when I work with my Savior as my co-star. He shows me what is possible and is there to support me every step of the way.

It's powerful, and beautiful, and real. And it's available. I've felt too much to deny it.
