Great news: It's not time for confidence yet.

A very common misconception is that we need to feel confident before we leap into what we feel called to do.

It's a great strategy... if you never want to get anything done.

in their book, 10X is Easier Than 2X, Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy teach that confidence is actually the 4th "C" in the process of growth. First, you have to have:

(1) Commitment.

Then (2) Courage.

Then you develop (3) Competence.

And then the (4) Confidence comes.

Isn't that great news?? If you don't feel confident yet, head back up the chain to the "C" you're on next. Have you committed? Have you moved forward with courage? Have you done 1 and 2 enough times to develop competence?

Make the choice, take the leap, put in the reps. The confidence is the end result, not the starting point.
