Proper form

personal growth potential

My triceps are killing me.

I started a new strength training program, and the first 30 days are all about learning "proper form," each day just 5 minutes, with your lightest dumbbells, focused on a single muscle group.

Yesterday, I learned that, of the probably thousands of tricep kickbacks I've done in my lifetime, I have not been doing them correctly

The motion was correct; the position was just too low.

Going through the motions, I thought I was doing it just like I should. I wasn't wrong; there was just a much more effective way that would get me closer to the results I wanted.

Where are we going through motions, assuming proper form, when there's something so much richer and more powerful just a few inches from our faces?

Might be well-worth going back to the basics.
