The variable price of eggs

courage freedom well-being

I've been paying $8.16 for 18 eggs at my usual grocery store. I happened to be at a different store yesterday morning, and to my surprise the same quantity + quality of eggs were $4.59.

This is a big difference! And they weren't even on special sale or anything!

The $8.16 price I've been paying was annoying to me, but I figured we were still seeing ripple effects from the bird flu so I accepted it.

...turns out I don't have to anymore.

If you're not happy with something you're seeing/experiencing, you may just have to accept it. But maybe it doesn't actually have to be that way. Maybe there's a super easy adjustment, like simply trying a (metaphorical) different store. Who knows? Maybe things can get better a lot easier and sooner.
