Who are you wearing?

choosing happiness courage creativity enough personal growth

When stars are interviewed on the red carpet, they're often asked, "Who are you wearing?"

I've been thinking a lot about labels lately, and the connection came to my mind about designer labels.

As we grow up, we're given labels to wear -- starting with our parents/caregivers, then expanding to friends and peers, then bosses, co-workers, customers, strangers online.....

Some of these labels are helpful for our growth and sense of self-worth; others are the opposite. Some examples include:

  • Creative
  • Fearful
  • Powerful
  • Weak
  • Industrious
  • Lazy
  • Worthy
  • Worthless
  • Learner
  • Loser
  • Unique
  • Nothing special
  • Loved

Whether helpful or not, it's important to take a look at what/who we're wearing and decide if we want to keep wearing that piece. If not, we have the freedom to replace it with a better design -- a label from the ultimate Designer, who knows you more deeply than any of the other designers in your life. The pieces from this Designer fit you so perfectly you can't even tell that you're wearing them. You're simply and gorgeously ...you .

There's more available if you choose it.
