Ballerinas don't start out on the stage

courage enough personal growth trust

No ballerina has started out doing pirouettes or leaping across the stage on pointe. Each one starts with a barre and big mirrors, with simple directives like, "First position. Now plié. Point those toes!"

The muscles required to do the big performances down the road have to grow one session at a time. The brainpower required to memorize a piece of choreography has to start with one simple move at a time. One move, then add another, and another until the disjointed moves become fluid and second-nature.

Any time we embark on a new project, we feel clumsy and unnatural. This is because it's new. Accept studio mode as enough for now. No stage or spotlight required yet.
