Question your assumptions

You can make life decisions based on fact, or based on fiction.

The difference is the set of assumptions you start out with.

If you begin with assumptions that haven't undergone some serious scrutiny, you run the risk of ending up with a very crumbly foundation. Making big decisions this way will lead to heartache and a whole lot more trouble than you want.

On the other hand, running your assumptions through filters of truth gives you something to anchor into and build on with confidence. You won't be completely immune to wind and weather, but you'll be a heck of a lot more prepared to endure it.
