Arrival vs. alignment

choosing happiness courage faith freedom god peace trust

Peace and light are available always, as a natural result of alignment with God. No matter the circumstances, this is an available state. This is freedom. Trust, calm, creativity, flow...it's all as normal as oxygen when you're aligned this way. We need this.

It's easy to look at life like a big long road trip, where we're headed toward a cool destination. But what if we're missing the point when we do that? What if we're actually here to master alignment? What if each re-alignment is arrival?

So much growth is possible if we strive to re-align every day. Fatigue happens (ohhhh how fatigue happens!), and in that exhaustion we can drift or even fully revert to former states of suffering or dormancy. This doesn't mean we're lost or hopeless; it just means we're misaligned, and the friction or fuzziness we inevitably feel is because we've shifted out of the alignment where we're fully supported.

This fully supported place isn't gusts of wind that come and go randomly, outside of our control; it's a channel. Like an old car radio, we can adjust the dial left and right as many times as we want. Regardless of our shifting away from it, the channel itself stays constant. It is eternal. Because of this, we're the only ones who can leave it -- and we can tune right back in. Every day!

We're on the road trip regardless of whether or how we use the radio. Tuning in to the best station of all time makes it infinitely more enjoyable -- and I know from experience there's a whole lot of guidance and support along with the joy (which leads to more joy).

It's available. We're invited. Let's tune in.
